Q. What could I win? What are the prizes?
A. You could instantly win $25 cash. There is a winner for every 5 minutes.
Q. How long is the contest?
A. The game starts online at 3:00:00 p.m. ET on 4/6/2009 and ends at 2:59:59 p.m. ET on 5/18/2009.
Q. What if I am having difficulty accessing the contest website?
A. There are three major items to consider: Internet connection speed, website address, and website traffic. If you have a slower Internet connection speed, please use the HTML version of the website. The HTML version of the website is located at the bottom of the website page where it says “If you are on a slower connection speed, you may click here for an HTML version.” Due to the intensity of the Baja Blast experience, dial-up Internet connections may take awhile to access the web site and older computers may be challenged to keep up. Please also make sure that the spelling of the website address entered is correct: www.bajablast.com. Traffic to the website may also be an issue. At various times of day (around lunch and dinner) the website will register more traffic than others. It may take longer to load the website during these times of the day.
Q. What if I am having difficulty reading the Game Code on my cup?
A. If you are having difficulty reading your Game Code off your cup or if the Game Code is missing from your cup, please call 1-800-TACOBELL (1-800-822-6235) to speak with a customer service representative.
Q. How do I play?
A. Internet access and registration with Pepsi is required. Once you have registered for the Promotion at www.bajablast.com, you can play by entering a Game Code. Each time you enter a valid Game Code under your Account, you will receive one (1) opportunity to play for a chance to instantly win one of the $25 cash prizes. In addition, all valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be automatically entered to a Grand Prize Drawing for one (1) Twenty-Five Thousand dollar ($25,000) cash prize (to be awarded in the form of a check). All valid non-winning entries received during the Promotion Period will be automatically entered into the Second Chance Drawing for any Instant Win Cash Prizes that are not awarded. Limit one entry per Account per day. A day is defined as 12:00:00 a.m. ET through 11:59:59 ET (except for the first day of the instant win game which game will be defined as 3:00:00 p.m. ET through 11:59:59 p.m. ET and the last day of the instant win game Period which will be defined as 12:00:00 a.m. ET through 2:59:59 p.m. ET). Enter the Game Code exactly as it appears on the Promotional Cup and click “Play/Submit” for one Game Play.
Q. How will I know if I am a winner?
A. If you receive an instant win message, you will receive an email prize confirmation message stating that you may have won the prize indicated in the message (subject to verification). If you receive a non-winning message on your screen, you are not a winner of an instant win prize, but you will be entered into the Second Chance Drawing.
Q. How are the winners determined?
A. Each valid Code entered will receive one entry into the Game (the “Instant Win Game”) for a chance to instantly win one of the $25 cash prizes. According to the game mechanics, once on the instant win game page, if you click the “Play /Submit” button, a randomly selected winner will be instantly notified if you have won a prize (as determined by Sponsor), subject to verification of eligibility and the terms of these Official Rules.
Q. What are the odds of winning?
A. Odds of winning an instant win prize depend on the number of eligible entries received and the day and time of game play. All valid non-winning entries received during the Promotion Period will not be entered in any subsequent instant win plays, but will automatically receive one entry into the Second Chance Drawing.
Q. Can anyone win?
A. Promotion open only to legal United States residents residing within the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older and have a valid e-mail account and internet access prior to the beginning of the Promotion Period. Void elsewhere and where prohibited by law, and in Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands. Employees, officers, directors and agents of Pepsi-Cola Company, its bottlers, Taco Bell Corp., participating Taco Bell restaurants, and all of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, franchisees, licensees, distributors, suppliers, printers or the advertising, promotional or judging agencies, webmaster or other parties involved in any aspect with the creation, production, operation, execution and fulfillment of the Promotion (collectively, “Released Parties”) and the immediate family members of such individuals (parent, child, sibling or spouse of any of the foregoing, including step-parent, step-child or step-sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to win. Groups, clubs or organizations are not permitted to register an Account or participate in the Promotion or distribute any portion of these Official Rules.
Q. How can I enter if I don't purchase a drink from Taco Bell® ?
A. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To receive one free Game Code and a copy of Official Rules without purchase, while supplies last, send a self-addressed stamped envelope, postmarked by 5/8/2009, to Blast for Cash Game Piece Requests, P.O. Box 750580, El Paso, TX 88575-0580. Requests must be received by 5/12/2009. Limit one (1) free Game Code per request per postmarked outer envelope. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied requests accepted. Residents of VT may omit return postage. Pepsi-Cola Company (“Sponsor”) assumes no liability for lost, late, stolen, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, or postage due mail or requests.
Q. How and when will I receive my prize?
A. Each potential prize winner will receive a Prize Confirmation notice on screen during their online session at www.bajablast.com and an email Prize Confirmation message. Instant win cash Prizes will be sent to each winner by U.S. Postal Mail at the postal address provided at the time of registration on the Web Site. Any winner notification returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address may result in prize forfeiture. Only those registrants who have received an Email Prize Confirmation notice are potentially eligible to win such prize. If prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited. Unclaimed instant win prizes will not be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect, incomplete and/or outdated information contained in any Account. It is the responsibility of the participant to make sure their Account information is accurate. If applicable, allow 8 to 10 weeks for shipment of instant win prize(s) following completion of notification process. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within the United States.
